1 Day Private  Camp with your own group of Friends

Want a fun private day Art camp for your kiddos and their friends?  During the Summer Available on Friday only.  During the school year, If available.

  A registration link will be set up for your group to register individually
 

Min to make a group 13 kiddos

Will have 1 water slide & foam cannon last 1.5 hour-ish ( June-September) If 1 day group October-May will have outside recess with chickens, and other activities
 
Projects will vary from group to group & 1 slime project.  ( If your kiddo attends a current Summer themed week, they will not recreate the same projects)
 

I will need to know the Point of Contact to reach out for specific information if needed and to name the Private Group on the waiver.  Each group participant can register their own children.  Each child will fill out a waiver for the date that y’all choose.

This 1 day Summer Camp is designed for you to have a day of creativity with just your group of friends.  All Children must be age 6 and up completed Kindergarten.  Same rules and Policies in place for Day camp as summer camp.  Please Read the Code of Conduct here &  FAQ here

Camp Activities:
Cost covers the use of studio space and all art supplies. (fun, smiles, laughter, and making new friends are free!)

Art Camp is for independently able children ages 6 and up and have completed Kindergarten.

Please provide your child’s information during checkout.

You will be emailed a waiver for your date.

For Elementary (ages 6 & have completed Kindergarten) & Middle School age kiddos Independently Able children  You will receive an email that shows your booking.  Mrs. Gordon will send  an information about your day of camp in May via email. Please make sure if you are signing up several kiddos to have that camper’s parent correct email.

Camp Activities: Different projects than if they attend a week summer camp. Cost covers Use of studio space, canvases, paint, brushes, all supplies, clay, glazes, instruction, 60-foot waterslide.  Fun, smiles, laughter, and making new friends are free! Art projects this week can, but not limited to:

  • Art projects including, but not limited to
  • 12×12 Stretched Canvas or Canvas board painting
  • Clay Project (ceramics needs time to dry, pick up at the end of summer) OR 3-D form, paper mache, etc
  • Printmaking
  • And so much More Art!
  • Arcades,Archery
  • Inflatable waterslide 

 Please have Campers dressed in bathing suit with sunscreen on prior to coming. Camp Schedule: 8:45 AM – 9:15 AM – Drop Off -Art Time

10:30 AM – Snack Art Time

12:00-12:30 PM – Lunch Time

1:30 PM – Outside Recess/water Time Art 

3:15 PM – 3:30 PM – Pick Up/Dismissal (Please be on Time – I don’t want to start charging for late pick-ups)  

Day campers will need to provide their own sack lunch, 2 snacks, and transportation. (Please let me know of any allergies) Art Camp is for independently able children ages 6 and up and have completed Kindergarten through Middle School (There are various ages of children at each camp). Parents – Please read the SUMMER CAMP FAQ if you have any questions.  In May you will receive instructions about summer camp that will include the online waiver link. All campers are required to have filled out the online summer camp waiver.

Mrs. Gordon will email you helpful tips & on line waiver to help you prepare for camp 1 to 2 weeks before your registered Camp week 
 

Summer Camp Refund Policy

  1. If for some reason you need to cancel or switch weeks please email by April 1st, Minus a $50 processing fee for cancellations.  After April 1st ANY CHANGES of weeks will be a $50 processing fee. There will be no refunds or credits after April 1st, No exceptions. I will be ordering & paying for supplies according to the number of registrations by April 1st. Once you commit, I cannot provide a refund/credit. Please be 100% sure you will attend before registering.  Camps are to be attended in the same summer year of registration, not transferable for following year camps or parties. If YOU find a replacement camper for your camper, please email both the new parent and myself with this information.  NO PROCESSING FEE, AS IT IS A SIMPLE SWITCH OF NAMES & monies is handled between you and the other family. 
  2. IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE WEEKS, THERE WILL BE A $50 SUPPLY & PROCESSING FEE. SUPPLIES ARE PURCHASED FOR THE # OF KIDS OF THAT WEEK’S CAMP. IF YOU TRANSFER WEEKS, I THEN HAVE TO PURCHASE MORE SUPPLIES. I also pay my IT person for every change that is made. 
  3. If I am  NOT at full capacity, you can change to another week of the same summer year plus a $50 per camper processing fee.  Not transferable to birthday parties, future camps, or other offerings.

Code of Conduct

Mrs. Gordon is looking forward to providing your child with a fun, memorable, and safe summer camp experience. Each camper has a responsibility to act in a way that assures a positive experience for all. All campers are required to follow these guidelines.


Behavior Guidelines

  • Campers shall be responsible for their words and actions.
  • Campers shall be respectful of others.
  • Campers shall follow directions from staff members.
  • Let kids enjoy a technology Free Art Experience….Campers shall leave all electronic devices at home such as iPods, handheld computer games, MP3 players, and cell phones. (A parent/guardian must seek permission from the camp director in order for the camper to be able to carry a cell phone for emergencies).

Prohibited Behaviors

  • Endangering the health and safety of themselves, other campers, and/or staff or volunteers.
  • Stealing, damaging, or failing to care for ArtBarnATX or personal property.
  • Continual disruption of the program& Campers
  • Refusal to follow the behavior guidelines.
  • Inappropriate physical contact.
  • Using profanity or inappropriate language or displaying clothing or other personal items with offensive content.
  • Bullying or acts of aggression or violence.
  • Possession or use of illegal substances, tobacco, or alcohol.
  • Possession of weapons – any object that may cause harm to another, or place another person in fear of his/her safety, may be considered a weapon.

Steps taken for failure to follow these behavior guidelines

  • Mrs. Gordon will redirect the camper to a more appropriate behavior.
  • The camper will be reminded of the behavior guidelines.
  • If the behavior persists, staff will discuss the problem with a parent/guardian.
  • It may become necessary to have the camper picked up early from camp.
  • If a camper’s behavior at any time threatens the immediate safety of him/her, other campers, or staff, the parent/guardian will be notified and expected to pick up the child immediately.
  • If the child does get picked up and asked not to return to camp/there is no refund

Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in the removal from the program and/or additional fees. There will be no refunds given for campers who are removed from the program due to violations of the Code of Conduct.
